JLD Perform infront of Royalty

On Tuesday 10th June, 23 JLD students went up to London to perform at the Arts Antique Fair London. The event was a preview Gala in aid of Children in Crisis, the Duchess of York’s charity.

JLD were the sole providers of the Ballet and Musical Theatre entertainment to match the Victorian Fair theme as people sipped their champagne and purchased rare and expensive antiquities. Among the attendees were, Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson, Princess Eugenie, Cressida Bonas and Artist Tracy Emin.

After performing just feet away from the Princess they were met by her and the Duchess of York. To say thank you the children were given goody bags with handwritten personalised notes from Princess Eugenie herself!

Here are a few of our own snapshots from the day. We are hoping for some more professional shots soon!VIC MT TS MT toot MT LP Toybox3 Toybox4 Toybox1 MT with DOY PSSE Vic with PSSE
